Plan Your Bouquets. Build Your Harvest List.

A simple two-page worksheet to take you from bouquet recipes to exactly what you need to harvest.

Whether you’re preparing for a farmers market, filling bouquet orders, or just trying to make harvest day a little less chaotic, this is the planning sheet I use to work backward from what I want to make to what I actually need to cut.

Hello, fellow growers and dreamers!

I’ve been growing flowers for more than 10 years, but I’m currently in just my second year of growing them for production as a flower farmer and I’m quickly learning those are two very different things.

One of the biggest lessons? Growing beautiful flowers is only part of the job. Figuring out how much to harvest, what you need for each bouquet, and how to turn all those numbers into an actual cut list is a whole other skill.

So I created this worksheet for myself.

It gives me one place to write out my bouquet recipes, calculate how many stems I’ll need based on the number of bouquets I’m making, and then turn everything into one master harvest list.

It’s simple. It’s decidedly low-tech. And it has made my harvest planning a whole lot easier.

So I thought—why not share it?

I certainly don’t have flower farming all figured out. I’m learning as I go, experimenting, making mistakes, finding better systems, and trying again. And whenever I create something that genuinely makes this work a little easier, I want to share it with you, too.

Maybe someday there will be a whole library of resources here. Maybe even an email list with fun newsletters, growing notes, and special announcements. I have some pretty big dreams floating around in my brain!

But for now, we’ll start with this.

I hope it saves you a little time, a little math, and maybe even one frantic trip back out to the field because you forgot you needed 37 more stems of filler. 😉

Until next time, keep growing and dreaming.
